Saturday afternoon at around 4:45 pm, an accident occurred on the road from Simon Antonio to Buena Vista, right by the entrance to Kolibristraat. Here, the driver of a white Toyota Agya lost control of their vehicle and flipped over. The car remained on its side due to the sheer force of the impact.
According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the vehicle was driving very fast, which they believe is likely the cause of the crash. To further investigate the incident, the police arrived at the scene together with the traffic specialists.
Two people were injured in the crash, and both victims were transported to the hospital for further medical attention. Because the vehicle was not able to continue driving on its own accord, the insurance company’s tow truck was called to the scene to remove the vehicle from the road.
