The project to Upgrade the High Rise area is divided into three phases. The first phase is the reconstruction of the road between Riu Antilla and South Beach. This includes installing new drainage ducts below the road to prevent the area from flooding.
The second phase is the reconstruction of the road as well, but this time from South Beach to Holiday Inn. The third phase is the reconstruction of the walking path and sidewalk between Riu Antilla and Holiday Inn.
Initially, this project was set to start this year with phase one, in hopes of having the first part finished by the end of 2023. This will hopefully still be feasible if no further delays occur in the form of rainstorms or shipping delays.
This project is set to start on the 27th of October 2023.
