Thirty-eight illegals enter Aruba all at once

Early Tuesday morning, the Coat Guard managed to intercept yet another group of people trying to enter the island illegally.

It all started late Monday night when the police helicopter could be seen flying over a specific part of the ocean. This was a sign that something was on its way, and in the end, they managed to intercept a boat carrying illegals.

It took a while before the boat reached the shore, but the authorities were prepared. There were two Coast Guard boats waiting in the water, the helicopter was still flying above head, and multiple police units and CEA officers were on shore.

In the end, it took over five hours before the boat reached Aruba. The boat was trying to drop off various illegals on Aruba’s northern coast. There were multiple failed attempts to bring illegals onto Aruba in September as well.

This time, the Metal Shark was able to confirm that a total of 38 undocumented Venezuelan adults were aboard. Three of which were female, and the rest were male.

The ocean was rough, which is why the Metal Shark was asked to aid the Aruba Police Force helicopter.

All illegals were handed over to “Guarda Nos Costa”.

This is, if our sources are correct, the thirteenth boat carrying illegals that has been intercepted in 2023.

This past case is also the biggest quantity of undocumented people caught in one go. Before this, the boat that was intercepted on the 28th of September had been the largest bust, carrying 28 men trying to enter Aruba illegally.

We believe that the sudden influx of people trying to flee to Aruba from Venezuela is caused by worsening situation Venezuela. They are therefore taking this tremendous risk of getting into a speedboat and trying to flee an increasingly bad situation.
