An accident occurred early on Thursday morning at the Sero Teishi roundabout on the Green Corridor.
Here, the driver of a Tesla failed to notice a cyclist and cut them off. This caused the cyclist to slam into the car, injuring herself in the process.
The police arrived to find the woman sprawled out in the road. An ambulance was called to the scene and paramedics placed the cyclist on a stretcher and rushed her to the hospital. The woman was conscious and informed paramedics that she was experiencing quite a bit of pain in her leg.
The impact was severe. This could be seen by the damage caused to the Tesla due to the collision.
