Detained after unearthing a lamppost in Hato

Saturday morning at around 3:00 a.m., an accident occurred on the road in Hato. Here, the driver of a black Ford lost control of their vehicle and hit a lamppost, unearthing it completely. At first, it was feared that the driver was trapped inside the vehicle.

Upon their arrival, authorities found the Ford completely destroyed and the lamppost completely destroyed in the middle of the road. The driver of the Ford declared that he did not wish to receive any medical attention or for an ambulance to be called. The police, in turn, decided to test the driver’s alcohol level. It turns out, unsurprisingly, that the driver was intoxicated, so they detained him on the spot.

The man was transported to the police station while the road was being closed for Elmar personnel to commence working on the broken lamppost. One thing is certain, not only did the driver lose his vehicle that night, but they will also have to pay the 10 thousand florins to repair the lamppost. To make matters worse for the man, when you are arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, your insurance company refuses to cover any damages caused by the crash.
