The police had their hands full with arrests early on Sunday morning. The motorcycle unit mainly detained many individuals on Sasakiweg, one of whom was the driver of a red Nissan Tiida at around 1:20 a.m.
They stopped this individual because officers noticed that he was driving poorly. The moment he lowered the window to speak to the officer, it was clear that he was intoxicated.
Just to make sure, an alcohol test was conducted, and unsurprisingly, he surpassed the legal limit. Because of this, the driver was detained right away and taken to the police station. There, he will have to present in front of a persecutor, who will determine his fate. The Tiida, in the meantime, will remain parked on the side of the road.
