Various police units held routine inspections in Noord last night and it did not take long before an arrest occurred. More than one person was detained after a firearm was discovered inside their vehicle. At around 5:30 a.m., the police stopped a white Daihatsu for routine inspection and the police found a firearm inside the vehicle.
The forensic team was deployed to the scene right away to register the evidence during the inspection. The driver was detained immediately and taken to the police station while the vehicle was confiscated and towed for further investigation.
