Drunk driver detained in broad daylight after causing an accident

On Monday afternoon at around 2:30 p.m., an accident occurred right in front of the Elmar in Wilhelminastraat. The accident involved three vehicles, a black Ford Bronco, a blue Toyota Yaris, and a white Hyundai Accent.

It all started when the driver of the Yaris failed to pay attention behind the wheel and rear-ended the Bronco. To make matters worse, the driver of the Accent did not notice the crash on time and rear-ended the Yaris.

The police noticed that the driver of the Yaris was behaving strangely, so they decided to conduct an alcohol test. The test, unsurprisingly, showed that the driver was intoxicated. The max is 220 ug/l, but he scored nearly 300 ug/l. This was more than enough proof for the police to detain the man and transport him to the Police Station. There, the man will have to present in front of a persecutor, who will determine his fate.
