On Friday night around 11:00 p.m., the police rushed to a home in Madiki to tend to an aggressive man. Apparently, an argument broke out that escalated into threats and loud shouting, during which an elderly man lost control and proceeded to break everything in the house.
He was very aggressive and posed a threat to other individuals in the house. Upon their arrival, the police had no choice but to detain him and transport him to the police station.
The man questioned his detention and the way the police treated him. What he failed to understand is that you cannot expect the police to handle you gently after making threats and breaking everything in front of others in the house. At the police station, a prosecutor will review his detention and decide whether he should be held in custody or released.
