Last Tuesday at 9:30 pm, the police went to Savaneta where a woman, a victim of abuse, was found lying on the side of the road.
Upon arrival, the police realized that the man had thrown the woman out of the car after assaulting her. The assailant had already left the scene.
An ambulance arrived and took the injured woman to the hospital. The police notified the Victim Support Team to assist the woman.
