Broken down car abandoned without license plate

On the last Sunday of February, the police responded to an attention-grabbing situation at Kas di Paloma. This is where a citizen raised an alarm, reporting an abandoned car without a license plate, broken, and appearing to be stolen. Upon arrival, the police indeed found a Toyota Yaris, all broken, and left behind without a license plate.

It was blocking the entrance of a house, and at the back of the car, there were bumpers and other car parts. Meanwhile, it was observed that the car’s starter was destroyed, and a screwdriver that was likely used to start the car was still stuck in the starter.

All indications suggest that this is a joyriding case. The police confiscated the car and took it to the police station pending further investigation.
