It’s not a UFO: it’s a drone show at night

Several citizens contacted the 24ora.com editorial office last night, indicating that they saw some strange lights in the sky. Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is an “unidentified flying object” (UFO). But obviously, that was not the case.

Even a media outlet published this news about a possible UFO over Aruba.

The truth is that the “Aruba Drone Show” conducted a test last night using no more than 20 synchronized drones. The intention is to start with a show featuring 100 synchronized drones, with the option to eventually reach up to 400 drones flying simultaneously.

Drones have become a tourist attraction because messages can be written or images simulated in the dark using lights on many of these devices, which are controlled remotely. The first test yesterday already garnered a lot of attention, imagine when they put five times as many synchronized drones in the air.
