The burning of palapas continues. On Friday night, after 8:30 pm, the police and fire department arrived in front of La Cabana to deal with a palapa that was on fire.
Before the firefighters arrived, one palapa had already completely burned while another just started to catch fire. The firefighters, upon arrival, immediately took action and extinguished the fire.
Currently, it is not known why these individuals are igniting the palapas and the exact number of palapas set on fire is also unknown.
