Team USA won against Team Aruba in Taekwondo

On Saturday night, the Taekwondo Challenge took place between Team Aruba and Team USA at the Brazil Community Center.

March 2nd was a highly anticipated day for Taekwondo Team Aruba and Taekwondo Team USA. After the face-off, Antwaun Wilson, the coach of Taekwondo Team USA, added two more matches to have more fights against Taekwondo Team Aruba.

The President of the Aruba Taekwondo Association, “ARTBO,” delivered a speech and thanked Taekwondo Team USA for coming to Aruba for the challenge.

After Aruba’s victory in the TK5 in Orlando, and Suriname facing Team USA here in Aruba, Aruba could have won, being at their home ground. However, things didn’t go as expected because Taekwondo Team USA came well-prepared. Taekwondo Team USA won against Taekwondo Team Aruba with a score of 15-2.

After the matches, Master Yoshmar Wever and Master Clifford Rasmijn spoke with the Aruba team about their performances. This is something that Master Yoshmar Wever and Master Clifford Rasmijn always do after each event to understand what went well and what needs to be improved.

The next challenge will be between Aruba and Suriname here in Aruba in June.
