On Saturday afternoon at around 3:00 pm, the police stopped a Kia Rio on Havenstraat in Playa.
Various drivers reported a couple having a heated argument inside the car, involving pulling the steering wheel and disrupting traffic. The police were immediately dispatched. They managed to stop the car and proceeded with the arrest shortly afterward. After enduring a barrage of insults, the man was transported to the police station where he will be presented before a prosecutor. The prosecutor will decide on either his incarceration or release.
