On Tuesday at around 11:00 pm, someone witnessed how a thief was breaking into a car once again. This happened in Blauwesteegstraat, located behind the court.
The car belongs to an employee who left his vehicle on the open field while he went to work. The thief walked around to see what was inside the car and then stopped by the trunk of this man’s pickup. He checked around and then broke into the pickup. They forced open the rear window and managed to unlock it. They climbed down to get into the car and spent quite some time searching for things to steal inside.
The owner of the car was distraught to see some of his belongings missing and his car in complete disarray. There are many drug addicts wandering around in the Playa area, and every day there are more and more victims of theft. This happened right in the Blauwesteeg area behind the “Fundacion pa Nos Comunidad”, very close to the city center.
