Man found asleep in a parking lot with drugs

Early Saturday morning at around 2:00 am, the police were called to the Super Food parking lot because a person was sleeping in their car. People called out of concern, not with ill intent, because they wanted to prevent the man from driving off and potentially causing an accident.

Upon arrival, the police discovered a man fast asleep behind the wheel. To make matters worse, when the police leaned into the car, a strong smell of marijuana hit them. The officers had to step away for a moment to get some fresh air before dealing with the man.

Upon further inspection, officers saw that he had a tray with marijuana, rolling paper and equipment to prepare the drug for consumption. This was reason enough to detain him, and he was taken to the police station where he spent several hours behind bars.
