Police confiscate a suitcase that washed ashore

On Tuesday morning, the police went to a hotel on the beachfront in Playa where security personnel found a suitcase that washed ashore.

Considering recent developments in the area, suspicions arose that there might be something illegal in the suitcase. There are also various rumors about people living near the water under the bridges in the Mangroves. The area around Westdeck is known to have a fair amount of addicts frequenting it. The police arrived and confiscated the suitcase. The suitcase was empty when the police confiscated it.

They requested a police pickup truck as they did not want to put the suitcase in one of the new police vehicles. This was to avoid damage and corrosion to the new vehicle.
