Around 3:00 pm on Thursday, several units headed towards Ponton in relation to an incident that occurred a while before. Initial reports state that individuals in a Nissan March tried to break into a house in the Madiki area. There were also reports that one of them had their face covered.
Police arrived at the scene, began a search, and requested assistance from other patrols. Eventually, they found this car in Ponton. Several police units surrounded the suspicious car so those inside couldn’t escape.
All three individuals were asked to exit the vehicle and multiple weapons were found inside. Whether there was more inside the car is not yet known. It has been confiscated and will be kept for further investigation.
