On Saturday at around 12:45 am, the police signaled for a black Honda to stop. Instead, the driver of the vehicle decided to flee from the police. Immediately, a pursuit ensued, and they managed to stop the car in Zuidstraat.
Upon inspecting the car, two young men and a woman were found inside. They managed to stop the car just on the other side of the former police station in Oranjestad.
The police searched the car and found a machete, which was confiscated. All three individuals were then allowed to continue on their way.
