Tuesday afternoon at around 3:30 pm, an accident occurred at the Cumana roundabout. This accident involved a Toyota, which is taxi 403, and a dark silver Suzuki Swift.
Traffic police arrived at the scene to attend to the accident. Forensics also arrived at the scene to take statements from all parties involved in the accident.
The front part of the Suzuki Swift sustained material damage, while the taxi was hit on the fender. In this accident, one person was injured and requested ambulance assistance. Paramedics conducted a medical check-up on the injured person to determine if further medical assistance was needed.
It is not a good day to be a taxi driver, on a single day, three taxis were involved in accidents, two of which collided with each other in the morning.
