The week begins with two power supply failures

On Monday morning, ELMAR cut off the power distribution in the areas of Piedra Plat, Santa Cruz, and surrounding neighborhoods. The reason for this was to carry out urgent and quick repair on the high-voltage line in the area. It was a quick and necessary task.

DISTRIBUTION PROBLEM

In an urgent notification, ELMAR informed the residents of Cas Ariba, Urataka, San Fuego, and nearby areas about a critical issue in the electric energy distribution. This inconvenience caused concern in the community, leading to an immediate mobilization of technical teams tasked with addressing the situation.

The power supply failure has a negative impact on the daily lives of the residents, affecting their everyday activities and peace of mind. In response, the responsible company deployed its technicians to investigate the underlying cause of the problem and work on a resolution.

By 12:00 pm, the technicians were on-site evaluating the situation to determine the necessary actions. Periodic updates are expected to be provided as more information becomes available.

This situation highlights the importance of having a reliable and efficient electrical infrastructure to ensure the community’s well-being. Residents are urged to stay informed via the official communication channels provided by the public service company until the problem is fully resolved.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE WORK

ELMAR informed the residents of the Tanki Leendert area about maintenance work on a 12 kV switchgear installation in the transformer houses responsible for distributing power in this area.

Although the load was transferred to avoid service interruption, this exerted additional pressure on the lines of another substation. The maintenance will take place from May 20 to May 27 as a preventive measure to maintain the stability of the electrical grid and ensure the continuity of service in the area.
