Two individuals arrested in a car theft case in Sero Janchi

It was early Monday morning when a green Toyota Tercel was reported stolen in Sabana Basora. The owner didn’t hesitate and immediately took to Facebook to inform the public that his car had been stolen. Within a short period, he received several valuable tips about where his car was spotted and where it might be. He began conducting his own investigation, involving the police as well.

Together with the police, they struck gold when they found his car at 14-A, an address known to law enforcement. In the past, various successful police raids were conducted there, and this time was no exception. The owner arrived at the address accompanied by a patrol from the Noord district. Upon their arrival, they immediately requested backup from other police units. Within a short time, the K-9 unit and the joyriding team arrived at the address along with the forensic team from the Police Department.

In addition to finding the car, they also discovered several other items suspected to be stolen at the same address. The address seemed to function as a mini chop shop, frequented by different addicts. Two individuals were arrested at the scene and transported to the police station where the investigative process would continue.

Of course, the two individuals will be presented before a prosecutor, who will decide whether they will be released or detained.

On his way to taking the Tercel back home, the owner’s luck ran out as one of the tires dislodged itself. A tow truck had to be called to help take the car back to Sabana Basora.
