The Aruba Police Force (KPA) recently held a ceremony at the J.F.K. Education Center to recognize police officers and administrative staff for their promotions, career achievements, and years of dedicated service. The event brought together Chief of Police Ramon Arnhem, members of the police command staff, colleagues, and family members to celebrate the recipients.
During the ceremony, government decrees were presented to officers who had earned promotions to higher ranks.
Promoted from First Class Police Officer to Brigadier were K. Pichardo, J. Lesire, V. Badal, A. Andrews, J. Luna Zapata, D. Lopez, J. Thiel, D. Croes, J. Velazquez, R. Dinzey, J. Maduro, B. Dorothal, K. Cayama Perez, A. Maduro, and F. De Cuba.
Promoted from Brigadier to First Class Brigadier were A. Pirela Soto, W. Connor, B. Croes, N. Sanchez Salas, D. Chirino, and G. De Castro.
Promoted from Senior Police Officer to First Class Senior Police Officer were R. Lacle, I. Puriel, D. Tromp, and M. Schuilenburg.
Promoted from First Class Senior Police Officer to Sub-Inspector were L. Richardson, M. Solognier, M. Ras, and J. Orman.
J. van der Biezen was promoted from First Class Sub-Inspector to Inspector.
Government decrees were also presented to administrative staff members Z. Yarzagaray, C. Gumbs, I. de Mey, and G. Ruiz.
The ceremony also honored police officers and administrative employees who reached 30 and 35 years of service with the Aruba Police Force.
Celebrating 30 years of service were M. Solognier, J. Orman, M. Rasmijn, R. Tromp, R. Holsman, and J. Dirksz. J. Rodriguez was recognized for 35 years of dedicated service.
Each recipient received a commemorative plaque and an official government decree in recognition of their years of experience, commitment, and service to Aruba.
“I am very proud of everyone who received their well-deserved government decree today,” Chief of Police Ramon Arnhem said. “As I always say, they are the backbone of our organization, and we must appreciate each of them for their hard work and dedication. I also want to sincerely thank their families for their support, which has helped them reach this important milestone.”
