Minister of Sports Gerlien Croes expressed her pride in Aruba’s athletes who represent the national flag in various sports on the international stage.
Croes emphasized that every medal and sporting achievement represents countless hours of training, intensive preparation, sacrifice, discipline and perseverance. She said these efforts are essential to achieving success at the international level.
The minister also thanked the athletes for their dedication and for representing Aruba with dignity and pride at international competitions.
Croes also recognized the important role of coaches, families and everyone else involved in each athlete’s sporting journey. Their support, she said, is an essential part of the process.
“Congratulations on your achievements. Aruba is proud of you,” was Minister Croes’ message to the athletes who carry Aruba’s name and flag onto the international stage.
