On Saturday morning at around 11:10 am, the police received a valuable tip informing them of a supposed group armed with firearms in the streets of San Nicolas. The informant pointed out that the armed individuals were inside a silver Hyundai Getz in front of Aruba Bank.
Considering the severity of the matter, two patrols were dispatched to that location. Authorities took all necessary precautions, considering that it could possibly involve armed individuals. They searched every corner of the street, entered alleys, and scanned the entire area.
The police did not encounter the armed group, but they remained extra cautious in this situation.
Of course, it could also be a false tip, but the police take every tip and call seriously.
