DIP is processing 500 land petitions

After handing over the process of granting pieces of land to the director of the Department of Infrastructure and Planification (DIP), the Prime Minister signed 500 petitions that were pending.

Is what the director, Haime Croes, said in a declaration.

One of the first tasks that the director and his department had to do was work on about 500 petitions that were put off. “Speeding up this process will also accelerate our economy that is going through a crisis because of the pandemic.”

The plan is to grant all 500 pieces of land before the end of this year. We are aiming to attend 200 petitions per week. We have started with the group waiting for the longest and those waiting on lease land for commercial purposes.
