Members of Parliament visited Fundacion pa Hende Muher den Dificultad

Recently, the Standing Committee of Social Affairs and Family visited Fundacion pa Hende Muher den Dificuldad (FHMD) to receive more information about everything that this foundation does.

This month, FHMD is celebrating 25 years of helping women and men who are victims of domestic violence.

Thanks to funds from The Netherlands soon, they will be able to expand their services by adding 16 new units. During this visit, Mrs. Magaly Maduro, Coordinator of FHMD, elaborated on what they do, future projects, and statistics of FHMD.

They extensively discussed the importance of registering cases to get an idea about the problem of Domestic Violence. After this, they received a tour of FHMD and a preview of where the new units will be built.
