Minister Bikker prefers to sit with labor union

After many intents, immigration workers had a meeting with the Minister of Justice. According to Lisette Ras, spokesperson for the unhappy workers, the meeting went well, but there are still things that need to be done.

Ras heard that the Minister wants to sit with the labor union and is disappointed about this because the labor union does not inform the workers correctly about what was discussed during such meetings.

Ras also explained that labor unions are often informed about some of the workers’ concerns, but they never hear back about it or if the information was passed on to the Minister.

For example, during yesterday’s meeting, the Minister was not informed that the immigration location in Barcadera is too small for all the workers.

Lisette Ras also added that they gave the Minister a manifesto. And now it’s up to the Minister to make the decisions.
