On November 14, ex-Parliamentarian, ex-Minister, and well-known merchant Mary Wever-Lacle passed away. A farewell service was held on Friday, November 20.
Many politicians, Parliamentarians, and the Wever-Croes and Mike Eman 1 and 2 cabinet were present.
AVP leader and ex-Prime Minister, Mr. Mike Eman, expressed his gratitude to Mary. “We are saying farewell to a great lady, an elegant woman, a hard worker with a strong character, and faithful to the AVP party.”
The funeral service will be held amongst family members.
