Labour unions want delayed promotions resolved

Prime minister Evelyn Wever-Croes, together with Ministers Andin Bikker, Rudy Lampe, and Glenbert Croes, met with labor unions SADA, SEPA, TOPA, and SIMAR.

One of the topics was workers who have been waiting a long time for their promotions. The Prime Minister explained that due to the pandemic, there were other priorities, but now that the pandemic is under control, they will focus back on this issue of delayed promotions. 

“On behalf of the Government of Aruba, I would like to thank the labor unions for their understanding and cooperation during this difficult period. The Government is making its maximum effort to rebuild our country economically so we may come out stronger and with a stronger economy and autonomy,” Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes expressed.
