This morning the police were busy with traffic controls. One of the phenomena that they were controlling is illegal taxis.
In Caya Ernesto Petronia, in the parking lot in front of the church in Oranjestad, different police units were busy controlling driver’s licenses, number plates, transport permits, etc.
During the control, they stopped a car whose number plate did not match the car. Moments later, the driver was arrested for suspicion of offering illegal taxi services.
