More people left the island on humanitarian flight

Today once again, a humanitarian flight with registered passengers left for Venezuela. Those aboard had to comply first with different points.

Xiomara Ramone came to Aruba on vacation but got stuck here due to Covid-19. It hasn’t been easy for her, but she is happy to be able to go home. She stayed for nine months at a friend’s house.

Rafael Medina is an investor and has a property in Aruba, but has been here for 10 months because of the pandemic. A challenge he faced was that his business wasn’t producing. But they love the island and were treated nicely. For nine years, they have been coming to the island, and he said that he would continue investing in Aruba.

Darwin Gonzalez was at the airport with someone who is going back to Venezuela. He explained that it’s a good thing to see so many people going back. A lot of people are going through a hard time here. Gonzalez helped those who most needed it the most because he feels it’s an obligation to help others.
