Gloria – Movies, Dining, Entertainment, and Play, using IMAX technology, is ready to open its doors. This is part of MetaCorp’s 10th-anniversary celebration. Because of Covid-19, it wasn’t possible to celebrate it the way we wanted to, but that will not stop this Aruban company from investing 40 million florins in an entertainment center.
MetaCorp is known for giving back to the community. Once again, they were able to come with an idea of how to do something for Aruba, which is what Devin de Veer, sales and marketing coordinator of Gloria-Movies, Dining, Entertainment, and Play, said. They chose to offer a week of free movies starting December 10 until December 16, 2020.
The campaign to start picking up free entrances starts Wednesday, December 2, from 12:00 pm at The Movies situated at the Renaissance Marketplace. You can register from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue until all the rooms are full.
When Gloria – Movies, Dining, Entertainment, and Play opens up its doors on December 10, about 2200 people could watch a movie per day, considering the social distance. Everyone can go to The Movies @ Renaissance Marketplace, register for a super card. With that, you can enjoy the benefits for next year. With the super card, you can register 2 or more people.
This concept is completely different because it takes entertainment to the next level. Devin de Veer expressed that she sometimes even forgets she is in Aruba because once you enter into Gloria, it’s like you are in the US. Apart from the 10 movie rooms, there are different dining options, an ice cream parlor, Starbucks, and even a large playground for the kids.
The Movies offers different options for the whole family. Those who want to explore this new entertainment center with small kids can grab free tickets for Despicable Me 3. At the IMAX, you can enjoy Batman to find out what IMAX really is. For ages 18 and up, the VIP section will be playing Fast & Furious 7.
“Remember that thousands of people will be able to enjoy free movies during the first week, but you must register to receive your tickets first. Showtimes vary from early afternoon to evening. When it’s sold, there will be no more tickets, so secure your tickets early,” Devin de Veer finalized saying.
