Friday late around 11:50 pm radar room detected a boat north of Aruba. Coastguard in Savaneta notified the Dash to identify the boat.
Coast surveillance and San Nicolas patrol headed to the coast of Aruba. The Coastguard’s metal shark, together with the Panter, immediately went into action, and after long persecution, they were able to intercept the boat.
Aboard they arrested a captain and his helper. They also found ten jerry cans. On land, coast surveillance confiscated two drug packages near Boca Keto that will be investigated.
