DVG: Vaccines will probably finish by Thursday

It was only two weeks ago that Aruba received its first batch of 11700 Pfizer vaccines against Covid-19 vaccines, and by this Friday, March 4th, the vaccines will probably finish. According to the National vaccination plan, the first batch was destined for those working in the health sector and adults above 60.

According to the plan, the second batch of 11700 vaccines will be arriving on March 8th, and it’s destined as the second dose of the 11700 people who are already vaccinated with the first doses.

During the week of March 29th, DVG is pending for their 3rd batch and will serve as the first dose for those pending to get vaccinated. And so, every 3 weeks, Aruba is expected to receive vaccines depending on the demand of the community.

The community needs to keep registering to get vaccinated. The registry is available through the Aruba Health App, the websites www.dvg.aw or www.arubacovid19.org, and at any of the 4 MFA buildings around Aruba.
