This week the government has announced that the safety measures regarding the coronavirus, which includes the curfew, will be extended. Even so, people continue to break the curfew in order to pursue their vices. This was the case in the early hours of this Thursday morning.
At around 2:47 am the Oranjestad police were patrolling Ranchostraat when they encountered a man on a bike. It was understood that the man had left his house in order to go buy some drugs, breaking the curfew.
The man was detained immediately and a transport vehicle was requested to take him to the station. He was also in possession of a pipe.
