According to Aruba’s Public Health Department (DVG), the total number of people who have recuperated is 24. However, there were a total of 40 new cases of COVID-19, of which 12 are non-residents.
The total number of tests performed at the various locations, namely the hospital lab, private labs, and the airport test is 977. The positivity rate among residents is 30%. As of today, there are 394 active cases and the number of deaths related to COVID-19 raised to 82.
The hospital has informed us that of the 32 people they’re treating, 10 of which are in the Intensive Care and 22 are in the general internal COVID-19 unit.
