Neck injury due to crash

At around 2:00 pm an accident occurred on the L.G. Smith Boulevard that involved 2 vehicles. Upon arrival, the police found that one of the vehicle’s occupants was injured.

They were experiencing neck pain. The police requested an ambulance immediately and the victim was transported to the hospital.

At the site, it was understood that the two vehicles were behind one another when oncoming traffic put on their blinker indicating that they were going to turn. The driver of the backmost vehicle (Ford Escort) wrongfully assumed that the car in front of them (Kia Picanto) was going to merge. They ended up crashing into the Picanto. Luckily the material damage was minimal and a little while later traffic normalized.
