Persecution ended in an accident and detainment

On Friday night at around 10:00 pm, the police attempted to stop a white Honda Accord near Sero Pita. The police wanted to conduct a routine inspection, but the driver decided to not comply with their instructions and sped off in the direction of Piedra Plat. The police followed.

The driver slowed down near Mandingo Snack and turned straight into a lamppost’s support wire, yanking it lose. This caused his front bumper to detach. The car pulled into someone’s driveway and the driver got out of the vehicle to flee.

The police called for reinforcements and started searching the area for the suspect. With the added lights provided by the police helicopter that also came to assist the search, they looked under every rock and tree for the suspect. After a while of searching, the police finally found the man hidden beneath some bushes.

He was immediately detained and a transport vehicle was requested to bring him to the police station. He will have to present in front of an auxiliary persecutor who will determine his faith. The man is accused of refusing to follow police orders, reckless driving, endangering traffic, and committing a hit and run.
