Hurricane season will be more active from now on

There is currently a tropical wave passing in the area which is interacting with a disturbance in the atmosphere in the East part of the Caribbean. This is what has been causing the abundance of humidity lately, and is also what is causing the current bouts of rain.

The majority of the bad weather will be passing north of Aruba, but we will still be experiencing some rain, according to the substitute director of Meteo Aruba, Dave Barkmeyer. The 20th of august just passed, which means we will be seeing more activity till about the 20th of October, as the hurricane season will be more active.

There will likely be some rainfall for the remainder of the day, but no more than that. In the morning hours, the rains might return, with the possibility of some thunder and lightning.
