An ambulance was called to bring her to the hospital immediately. A driver that was involved in an accident this morning turned out to be pregnant, and out of precaution, they decided to transport her to the hospital for further medical attention.
The accident took place at around 8:30 am on the Middenweg and Oude Schoolstraat intersection in Playa (which is located just behind the Maggy’s in the Main Street). The vehicles involved were a pickup and a KIA Rio, neither one of the vehicles stopped to let the other pass at the intersection, which resulted in the collision.
The impact provided the pregnant driver with quite a fright as she is preoccupied with her child. Besides that, the material damage was minimal and luckily, no one appeared to be hurt. The police did not hesitate to call an ambulance to the scene as soon as they saw that one of the drivers involved in the crash was pregnant.
