The Coast Guard shot at a go-fast vessel trying to enter Curacao with drugs. After shooting at the vessel in an attempt to stop it, one of the crew members was fatally struck. They later managed to board the boat and confiscated a significant amount of drugs.
The 5 other crew members that remained alive were detained and the lifeless body was confiscated pending further investigation. Two pickups and a van full of drugs were confiscated and transported to the drug department. The case is currently under investigation.
