Recently, the Prime minister had the honor of delivering the keys of the Refugio Social project. The project was financed by The Netherlands with regards to the crisis in Venezuela. The prime minister is grateful to the organizations; Bureau Rampenbestrijding, Fundacion Refugio Social and CEDE Aruba for their coordination of the project. CEDE Aruba in particular was thanked for their application to receive the funds.
Premier Wever-Croes explained that the Foundation Refugio Social is in charge of the necessity they hope was not needed in Aruba. However, circumstances have caused that men also fall into precarious situations where a they need a place to shelter. Aruba currently has a shelter for women and now also for men. CEDE Aruba manages the process of funding and will continue to seek funds to furnish the shelter.
The Prime minister concluded by wishing the Foundation Refugio Social success with the work ahead and thanked all organizations that made the shelter possible.
