Wendrick Cicilia and Sarah-Quita Offringa announce: ‘Think Common Good Beach Clean Up’

It is everyone’s civil duty to contribute to creating a good community and a better island. That is the inspiration for the concept of “THE COMMON GOOD”. As a continuation of the successful “The Restoration of THE COMMON GOOD” symposium, where the idealistic concept of “THE COMMON GOOD” was launched, “Plataforma Hobennan Porfesional” and party announced and invited everyone in the community to actively participate in the ‘Think common good beach clean up event’.

“Hoben Profesional”, Wendrick Cicilia accompanied by our world champion windsurfer Sarah-Quita Offringa, invited our community to participate in the ‘think common good beach clean up’, starting at Grapefield/Boca Grandi on Sunday the 27th of November at 9:00 am.

Think Common Good!

Wendrick Cicilia stated that THE COMMON GOOD strives to get everyone, from all generations, focussed on actively participating in activities that will benefit the greater good, and not just their own interests. It is time that we focus on the COMMON GOOD of our island. We can accomplish beautiful things if we unite our forces for a noble cause. A collective effort to keep our natural habitats clean and beautiful. This will benefit us all and make Aruba an island to be proud of.

The Common good is fundamental for a functioning society. We have to renew our promise to improve our island. ONE ACT AT A TIME, we can transform our island once we shift our mindset to that of the COMMON GOOD!

Empathy, solidarity, active participation, and love for your country and people are the ideals that inspire THE COMMON GOOD. It is a desire to unite our community for a noble cause for our island, and in doing so, benefitting the social, economic, and political development of our island.

Aruba is our home and it is our responsibility to keep it clean, so that our people and those visiting can continue to enjoy it.

Please register to help out during the first edition of the “Think common good beach clean up event”, on the 27th of November, Sunday 9:00 am, starting at Grapefield/Boca Grandi!
