Saturday was an eventful day at the airport, as there were thousands of passengers both arriving and departing from Aruba. One case, however, was out of the ordinary as they tried smuggling illegal substances into the island from Canada. The woman was arriving from Canada and had a Canadian passport as well. When she was going through the airport inspection, they immediately stopped her. When it was confirmed that she was carrying drugs, they arrested her right away. This woman is sure to spend her holidays in Aruba, unfortunately, it will have to be behind bars.
