It all started at around 8:15 pm when the police were informed about a serious case of aggression against a woman that left her seriously injured in a house in Mahuma. The police rushed to Mahuma 12-A to tend to this serious case of aggression. Upon their arrival, the police as well as the 24ora.com team found the victim sobbing on the floor in front of the home. There, the woman told the police that a man by the name of Arshall Tromp assaulted her and left her there. The victim told the police that the aggressor had a firearm in his possession. An ambulance was called to the scene to tend to the victim.
All the police that were nearby the area were called to aid in the search for the aggressor. He is considered armed and dangerous, so all patrol units were warned to proceed with caution. It did not take long for the police to detain the man at the bus stop on Green Corridor. The police acted fast and brought the man to the floor in order to arrest him right away. A police transport vehicle was called to the scene to bring the man to the station.
