Possible heart attack: man drowns at Eagle Beach

A very unfortunate incident took place at Eagle Beach this afternoon. A man who was trying to have a good time at the beach encountered a health issue in the water at around 2:00 pm in Palm Beach. The authorities were alerted immediately.

Fellow beachgoers noticed the tourist struggling in the water and thought he could be drowning. They rushed to get the man out of the water and started giving him first aid right away. Eagle Beach personnel did their best to reanimate the man, but the situation was dire.

A little while later, paramedics arrived at the scene and took over the rescue mission. They did their best to help the man, but he remained unresponsive. The elderly man was reportedly visiting Aruba on a cruise ship. Paramedics used a defibrillator but to no avail. In the end, they contacted the doctor to come to declare the man’s death.

After a painstaking effort, they had to accept the terrible fact that the man had passed away. All authorities were present at the scene, including the Victim Support Team, to tend to the family of the deceased during this difficult time.
