Curacao set to open its borders to Venezuela in two months

During a meeting that took place on the 8th of February, 2023, the Curacao Government made the decision to provide Venezuela with a date for when their borders would reopen between Venezuela and Curacao. Contrary to the first proposition, in which they stated that only the maritime border will open and be evaluated before further steps are made, Curacao has decided to open both borders simultaneously!

They informed Venezuela that both the maritime as well as aviation borders will reopen on Monday the 3rd of April, 2023. In the coming period, the remaining details and conditions will be finalized together with Venezuela in order to be able to open the borders on the 3rd of April 2023.

The Government in Curacao will continue to inform us of the process and is pending for Venezuela to agree to the terms that they have set.
