Wilfred Ras: first Aruban to run in every world marathon

The runner Wilfred Ras is the first Aruban to actively participate in all six world marathons! Today he finished the one in Japan all the way on the other side of the world…making good time to boot. With this, he did not simply fly to the other side of the world, but he completed the most important marathons all around the world!

Wilfred Ras, of Total Cleaning, participated in the Tokyo Marathon in Japan today, which he finished successfully.

The so-called “World Marathon Majors” are the most recognized marathons in the world. They are the Tokyo Marathon, the Boston Marathon, the TCS London Marathon, the BMW Berlin Marathon, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, and the TCS New York City Marathon.

Wilfred Ras demonstrated that with perseverance, dedication, and discipline, anything is possible in life, even if you are elderly. He invested a lot of time and energy and had to make many sacrifices along the way to keep his body in shape to be able to participate in all of these marathons all over the world known as the Abbott World Marathon Majors.
